Welcome To Sacred Heart Parish
Dear New Parishioners:
WELCOME TO SACRED HEART PARISH!
The entire parish community would like to take this opportunity and express a warm welcome to you. We are so happy you have chosen to join our Parish family.
Even though we just celebrated our 125th anniversary a few years ago, there is a new spirit in our parish. A spirit that calls each of us to share our gifts and talents with the rest of the community. You can sense the growing excitement with the new programs and the increased involvement of parishioners like yourself.
I would like you to know two things about our Parish. The first is that all of us on the Parish Staff are here to serve you. If we can assist you in receiving or preparing to receive any sacraments, please feel free to call on us. You are not an interruption to our work...you are our work!
The second thing is that we are encouraging each member of our parish family to become an active member. This means three things:
- Faithfully attend Sunday Mass
- join at least one ministry or group in the parish
- Practice Gospel stewardship of time, talent, and treasure.
At times, our Parish can seem quite large, as we have currently over 2,400 families. Becoming involved in our various ministries and organizations will help you get acquainted with other members of our Parish family. This is an excellent way to reach out to one another and help your new Parish at the same time!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the Parish Office at 402-371-2621. Our office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday thru Wednesday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Thursday, and 8:00 am-3:00 pm on Friday.
Again, welcome to the Sacred Heart Parish family. We hope that you will enjoy your involvement in the community and you quickly feel at home hear at Sacred Heart. May the lord bless you.
With love and prayers, Reverend Dan Andrews, Pastor
