January 29-SOUP LUNCHEON
Sacred Heart Home and School Association will begin
Catholic Schools Week by hosting the annual
Soup and Sandwich Luncheon on Sunday January 29th
from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm in Burns Hall at
Norfolk Catholic High School.
Soup, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, coffee
and lemonade will be served.
A free will donation will be accepted.
January 29-TALENT SHOW
Come and watch local talent compete in the talent
show at 12:30 pm on January 29th sponsored by the
Peer Ministers from Norfolk Catholic High School.
January 29-TOUR THE REBURBISHED BLESSED CHIARA ORATORY
on Sunday, January 29th from 10:30 am–1:30 pm.
February 1st–1:30 & 6:30 pm–Burns Gym–Living Rosary
Come enjoy a presentation of the “Living Rosary”.
Archbishop George Lucas is planned to be in attendance!
February 2nd–1:30 pm–Activities Center–"The Spoon Man"
Come enjoy a musical, interactive, comedic
presentation by “The Spoon Man”, Jim Cruise.
NEBRASKA WALK FOR LIFE
Join the annual Walk for Life at 10:00 am
on January 28th at 14th and J in Lincoln, NE,
to the west steps of the State Capitol.
The keynote speaker is Ryan Bomberger.
Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Lincoln (14th and K),
celebrated by Most Reverend William J. Dendinger,
will precede the walk at 9:00 am.

2012 ANNUAL MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT EVENING
Friday, February 10,
Sacred Heart Parish Center, Norfolk
This year’s evening for married couples will be led by
Damon Owens and includes a romantic candlelit dinner
complete with wine and desserts.
Seating is limited.
Cost: $50 per couple.
The evening begins with Holy Mass at 5:30 pm
with Fr. Dan Andrews with dinner immediately following
with presentation to 9:30 pm.

ANNUAL STEWARDSHIP RENEWAL
Every household has received their Annual Stewardship Renewal information.
This year, there was a change in the information.
Each family received a booklet of sorts, highlighting all the different ways that are available in our Parish to open your hearts and serve.
We encourage you to look through this book and prayerfully consider the many ways that the Holy Spirit is calling you to do more for His kingdom right here in Norfolk. You can complete your Annual Stewardship Renewal On-line by clicking HERE.

Prayer of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we consecreate our lives, our families, and our parish to you. We offer to you our hearts: All that we are, all that we have, and all that we love, without exception. May all members of this parish choose the path of Discipleship-in worship, thanksgiving, evangelization, and loving service to one another and to the poor.
May we stand strong against all evil by perseverance in faith and trusting obedience to the teachings of Jesus and His Bride the Church. May we shine as a beacon to all with the light of His wisdom and love.
Mary, Mother of God, keep our parish close to your Immaculate Heart, and wrap us in your protective mantle in union with Jesus your Son. We ask this in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
